Talking about me is usually
very hard for me to do. It doesn’t matter if it’s saying good or bad things. It’s
just not easy, I assume it’s because I show a part of myself. However, if I
need to than I will begin by telling you that I am about to turn twenty-three.
I am very happy, because I look back and I can say how much I have enjoyed
every day of my life. My nearest goal is to complete my bachelor’s degree,
and then I want to go to the medicine school. The bachelor’s degree I am
currently studying is in integrative biology. I choose biology because it was
my favorite class of during high school. I see life like a gift and for that
reason the present is called present, because it shows us the opportunity to
make or change our lives every day. That’s why I also want to study medicine because
I want to make a difference in the world and encourage the people I treat to
see their lives as a great opportunity to treasure.

The first place I chose
to share with you today is: Philadelphia*. I went on this trip when I was in
eleventh grade because I was part of a program called Talent Search. Talent
Search was a program for distinguished students in high school that were able
to demonstrate a large interest in their academic futures by maintaining high
G.P.A’s. The program chose two students from within the group to make this trip
to Philadelphia to be part of a presentation. I was one of the lucky two! Now,
when we got to Philadelphia, believe it or not, the presentation got cancelled.
So, we spent the trip just visiting museums, sight-seeing and eating at restaurants.
The best thing about the trip was spending the 4th of July at a huge
activity in the streets of the city. It was a great experience and I’ll never
forget it, since it was the only time I left Puerto Rico.

ReplyDeleteReally is amazing a 4th of July in USA!!
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you were one of the two lucky students to be chosen to participate in that program. And also that you had the great opportunity to know one of America's most important historical cities.
ReplyDeleteNice job! I think you did a good description about yourself, although it is hard for you. I am agreed with you in the fact you said that you see life like a gift. Never change your mind! I would like to go to Philadelphia some day like a tourist because I did a flight connection there and I think it is an interesting and pretty place. Finally, congratulation for your academic and research achievements!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your future plans! (I will send you comments via email.)
